Tourism in Azerbaijan: 6 Nights, 7 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Baku Arrival: You will be welcomed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by the company representative. Then, proceed to the hotel to check in to your rooms and enjoy some time to relax. Sightseeing Tour: Old Baku: We will start our first sightseeing tour in the Old City area, visiting the Maiden Tower (Qız Qalası), one of the most important tourist attractions in Baku, classified as a significant heritage site by UNESCO. The tower features a museum that narrates the story of Baku's development, and the top floor offers a stunning panoramic view of the city, overlooking the Caspian Sea and the Flame Towers. Historic Fortress: Explore the fortress, the historic district, and the souvenir and carpet bazaars. Shirvanshahs' Palace: Visit the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, dating back to the 15th century. Caspian Sea: Enjoy a tour around the Caspian Sea, followed by a visit to a restaurant for lunch. Return to Hotel: After lunch, return to the hotel for some rest. Evening: Boulevard Walk: Enjoy a stroll along the Baku Boulevard (Caspian Sea promenade) to soak in the wonderful European atmosphere and take memorable photos. Shopping: Visit the Boulevard Mall, which features shops, restaurants, and cinemas. Dinner: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel.

Breakfast: After breakfast, at 10 AM, we will head to the Heydar Aliyev Center, established in 2012. It is considered one of the most important cultural centers in the world, designed by the Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid, for which she received the London Design Award. Absheron Peninsula: Next, we will travel to the Absheron Peninsula, about 20 kilometers from Baku, to see Azerbaijan’s eternal flame, the Fire Mountain (Yanar Dag). It was historically believed to be a sacred mountain because its flames never extinguish. The mountain is a pilgrimage site for some followers of Zoroastrianism from Iran, India, and elsewhere, with flames reaching heights of about ten meters. Lunch: After our visit, we will head to a restaurant for lunch before returning to the hotel for some rest. Evening: Shopping: In the evening, we will visit Ganjlik Mall for shopping. Dinner: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for the night.

Breakfast: After breakfast, at 10 AM, we will depart from Baku and head to the city of Quba, located approximately 170 km from the capital. Hotel Check-In: Upon arrival, we will check into the hotel and settle into our rooms. Quba is the capital of the Rayon region and is famous for its apple orchards and carpet weaving. City Tour: We will start our city tour by visiting the Friday Mosque and the Khanum Sakhina Mosque, followed by a stroll around the city center. Dinner: After the tour, we will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Return to Hotel: Finally, we will head back to the hotel for the night.

Breakfast: After breakfast, at 10 AM, we will head to the town of Shahdag, located about 45 km from Quba. Leisure Time: Enjoy the beautiful nature and mountainous atmosphere of Shahdag. You will have free time to explore and relax. Return to Quba: After your time in Shahdag, we will return to the hotel in Quba for the night.

Breakfast: After breakfast, at 10 AM, we will leave Quba and head back to Baku. Hotel Check-In: Upon arrival in Baku, we will check into the hotel and enjoy some time to relax. Evening: Shopping: In the evening, we will visit 28 May Mall for shopping and leisure. Dinner: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for the night.

Breakfast: After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will depart at 10 AM to visit the Gobustan Museum, located about 70 km from Baku. Gobustan: At the museum, we will see tools used in the Middle Paleolithic era. We will then head to the mountain to view the rock carvings in this open-air museum. Mud Volcanoes: Next, we will visit the nearby mud volcanoes, a unique natural phenomenon. Return to Hotel: After our explorations, we will return to the hotel in Baku for the night.

Transfer to Airport: Head to Heydar Aliyev International Airport. Wishing you a pleasant return journey!
